Arizona, located in the Western United States, is included in the Mountain West states. Arizona is well known for its dry desert climate where hot summers and mild winters are the norm. Fewer know that the northern part of Arizona is a high desert region that includes temperate summers and winter snow. There are resorts, from simple to glamorous, throughout the state offering everything from rustic cabins to complete spa holidays.
