Florida is a tropical paradise of long coastlines on the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. A drive along the coastline provides an amazing holiday for the entire family.

A driving holiday could begin in Jacksonville, heading south through Daytona Beach, turning inland to visit Disney World, Sea World and Epcot Center in Orlando, stopping frequently to visit all the famous beaches along the way, take time out to play in Miami, then drive down to Key West for an eclectic tropical experience.

Back on the mainland and heading west, a visit to the alligators and shore birds of Everglades National Park and Big Cyprus National Preserve would be a must, as are the many stops through the rusty gulf coast locales of Fort Meyers Beach, Sanibel Island, Venice, Homosassa to visit the Manatees there, Cedar Key, Apalachicola for a colorful view of shrimp boats, through Panama City's white sand beaches and into Pensacola.

The short drive from Pensacola, through Tallahassee and back to Jacksonville would complete a marvelous tour that could be done in two weeks or for a more inclusive tour that would include golf, boating, fishing, shopping and more exploration, why not stay for the winter?
